报告人简介：

Professor Hamed Sari-Sarraf received his PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 1993. After spending one year as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Labora- tory (ORNL), he joined ORNL’s Image Science and Machine Vision Group as a Research Staff Member. In 1999, he accep- ted a faculty position in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas, where he currently holds the rank of Professor and is the Director of the Applied Vision Laboratory. His research focuses on the applications of computer vision in industrial monitoring, precision agriculture, and medical diagnosis. He was the Associate Editor of SPIE’s Journal of Electronic Imaging, a Fulbright scholar, and is a life member of SPIE, and a senior member of IEEE.
