Dr.Lu’s research area includes longitudinal data analysis，missing data，U statistics，robust statistics，semi-parametric model，survival analysis, causal inference, functional response models ,social network analysis and big data analysis。He published more than 40 SCI papers and got 2 NIH grants. He also worked as IPA scientist at veteran affairs medical center.
